For instance, lighter armor might allow for camo and jetpack options while heavier wear might have heavy weapon mounts for some real artillery. I'd like to see a game where heavy armor feels like heavy armor, where you can wade through some shots, and both it and lighter armors come with their own distinct benefits. This one has this tiny boost over this one, which has this tiny boost over this one, but has this small negative in comparison and on and on until you reach some singular uber version for the game, if not your class. Nearly all games treat armor, or armor pieces, as tiny stat boosts.
I'd love to see a game take a more substantial approach to armor.
